Our wyneyard

Situated between Chambéry and Albertville, at the foot of the Bauges massif, the estate extends over an area of 16 hectares implanted on slopes facing south, We distinguish two types of soils: a dominant limestone part located on the commune of Montmélian and a dominant clay part on the commune of Arbin (red clay) which is the soil of predilection of the monder.

The soils are rich and deep. They confer to our vineyards vigour and rooting in basements and transmit to them a quantity of trace elements that are beneficial to them and contribute to the quality of the grapes. In addition, we benefit from a favorable exhibition (Southeast) that promotes the maturity of our grapes and thus gives a strong character to our wines.

Fabien TROSSET, the first producer of Mondeuse d'Arbin in Savoie, produces this variety, whose oldest strains are 80 years old, on more than 13 hectares of vines. The work carried out around this unique grape variety has only gained in reputation and is among the references of Savoie. The Mondeuse d'Arbin gives a famous red wine that gains in personality and suppleness after a few years (up to 10 years), developing at will its characteristic scents of violet and spices (peppery notes) and aromas of red and black fruits (raspberries, cherries, blackberries, blackcurrants...) and a round and supple finish with silky tannins.

We also produce two white grape varieties, Altesse and Roussanne.
